The options control general settings of the
effect.
It contains a number of settings. Depending on the image mode and
current state of the UnPlugged-X plug-in, options may or may not be
available.
Background
Some of the effects in UnPlugged-X will
work with transparency and this setting controls what the
background of the image will be when real transparency isn't
available.
You can select "Source", using the original image as the background
or a number of predefined colors, including the host application's
current fore- and background.
Please note that you can use the Fill effect if you want to have a different
colored background. Be sure to read the documentation on the Stack
if you want to do this.
This option is only available when working on a background layer.
That is; a layer without any transparency. If the source image can
handle transparency, the Background will always be transparent, so
this option will not be available.
Render filter on top of stack
If this option is
enabled (the checkbox left of the text shows a checkmark),
the entire Stack will be rendered before the effect currently
selected in the Filters list is applied. This way you can preview
what the effect will look like before adding it to the Stack. If
this option is disabled, the effect will be rendered as if no stack
was present.
This option is only available when you have
selected an effect in the Filters list.
Up to
If this option is enabled, the Stack will only
be rendered up to the currently selected effect in the Stack. This
option is useful to see exactly what the currently selected effect
in the Stack does, without it being obfuscated by further
effects.
