This effect separates the red, green and blue parts of an
image by increasing the brightness for each of the individual
channels based on the difference with the other two color channels
at that pixel location.
Any grayscale areas are blackened out by this effect, but any
secondary colors (yellow, cyan and purple) remain visible.
